Cookie Eve

For several years John has entered into random “baking sprees” around the Christmas Holiday.  It’s always lots of fun for the whole family (and many friends) to eat, but not very sustainable.

This year we’re going to try a new approach.  On Saturday, the 1st, we embark of our own 25 Days of Cookies.  Our goals are to share our love of baking with all of you and to spread a little “Cookie Joy” with our friends, neighbors, co-workers and hopefully several folks we don’t know, but hope will enjoy a homemade cookie.

Each day from December 1 – 25, our family will select a new cookie recipe, made from scratch.  We’ll post the recipe and our thoughts on the baking process and the outcome of our efforts.  We also plan to challenge ourselves to share a dozen cookies with at least one person/family/group each of the 25 days.

We’ll keep you posted on our progress and hope you’ll share in the Holiday Cookie Joy throughout the season!  John & Beth
